Mr. Ghulam Muhammad Memon, Additional Auditor General-I, has more than 33 years of experience in Public sector with expertise in the areas of Policy Formulation and Governance, Change Management, Financial and Human Resource Management, Auditing and Accounting.  Ghulam Muhammad Memon has attended Financial Management courses at Harvard Kennedy School, Boston, USA. He has been trained as Master trainer in Auditing and Accounting modules by Northern Alberta Institute of Technology, Edmonton, Canada. He has been President of Audit Commission of Asia-Pacific Space Cooperation Organization (APASCO) at Beijing, China for 2 years. He is also a fellow member of Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountant (PIPFA), a professional accounting body under IFAC, established by ICAP, ICMAP, and the Office of AGP.

Ghulam Muhammad Memon has served as Head of Department /Director General (DG) in Field Audit Offices of Commercial Audit, Defense Audit, and Local Councils Audit Sindh.  Earlier, he served on the portfolios of Deputy Controller Air Force Accounts and Controller Military Accounts (Karachi) in Pakistan Military Accounts Department.  He also served as the Head of Finance Department in Pakistan Steel Mills, Employees Old-Age Benefits Institution, University of Sindh and Pakistan Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission (SPARCO).

Ghulam Muhammad Memon is supervising Comprehensive Change Management Plan of AGP office in line with the Strategic Vision 2023 with the objective of transforming Compliance Audit to Specialized and Thematic Audit using artificial intelligence, and ensuring implementation of Quality Management Framework. Under his leadership, DAGP has piloted Audit Management Information System in Public Accounts Committee and in 3 Field Audit Offices.

Ghulam Muhammad Memon has the distinction of producing multiple special audit reports as team lead and supervisor. He holds Bachelor degree in Medicine and Master Degrees in Economics and Business Administrations with majors in Finance and Accounts.
